The Santa Clara County Office of Veterans Services is here to serve the Veterans and Dependents of Santa Clara County.
The Veterans Service Office will have limited walk-in capacity on September 26 and October 3, 2023, due to staff training. We will be giving priority to new veterans, those filing "Intent to File" documents, and reviewing VA correspondence. Homeless veterans and recent surviving family members are welcome as always. For all other services, please message your Veterans Service Representative or call 408-918-4980 to schedule an appointment. Standard services are expected to resume on October 10, 2023. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Operation Hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM are by appointment only.
Tuesdays from 8:10 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM we conduct both virtual walk-in and in-person walk-in service.
We are closed during county holidays and in-service days. In-service training is on the last Thursday and Friday of each month (or the week prior if there is a holiday). The office will be closed on those days and reopen on the following Monday. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause; however, we believe that training is a fundamental part of development and helps to ensure the Office of Veterans Services continues to enhance the level of services provided to our Veterans.
The office is using a hybrid model of remote work and in-person work to help keep the employees and the public safe in our current environment.
